Yes, yes, I know I haven't been blogging about what has been happening. Since the new year has started, I've been really busy. Anyway. I'm now learning the guitar (*oof* my fingers hurt) and I just came back from Ipoh for Chinese New Year and BOY, WAS IT HOT!!!! There were loads of mosquitoes too!!! Bzzzzzz...

Yeah, I'm also VERY rich (all my ang pow money) but I've put almost all of my money into the bank, cause' that's what my mum wants me to do. So, what's up with homeschooling? This. I'm doing Singapore Maths AND Singapore Grammar (Urgh, I absolutely HATE angles). Other than that, it's the same. I don't get 1 week holiday too. But live's good and I can't complain. My art is getting better now, though I don't think so. In science we've learned about Survival Skills and Food and Nutrition. Now, we're learning about rocks and fossils. We'll also learn how to grow our own crystals! How cool is that?!

Hmm, maybe Andrea, my grandma and I are going to Beijing in March! Woo hoo! Maybe only... Actually 16 people are going. On a tour. Visiting the Great Wall of China, the Forbidden City and the Olympic stadium.

It's so hard to believe that 2009 is gone and 2010 is here. Today's also the day we start school. It's really a good thing I'm homeschooled! Advantages-

1. Don't need to feel awkward when new year starts.

2. Don't need to feel sad about saying goodbye to friends (because you don't even meet friends.)

Yeah, and I only can think of advantages. No disadvantages for me! Today, we also watched "Avatar" in the cinema. It was so awesome! Everybody need to go and watch it for themselves!

Youth Camp, noooooo!!

So... maybe I'm going to the Da Vinci museum in Petronas or somewhere like that. And did you know that the Da Vinci museum is straight from Italy? Whew! To think we're going. It's quite expensive too, my mother says.

Evening at the park

We went to the park yesterday evening... jogged one whole round, I felt so tired. While jogging halfway, I saw two kittens, one who ran away when it saw me. The other stayed next to the longkang. I went nearer but the kitten hissed at me, so I backed away...

We continued jogging until the end of one round. Then my mother and I jogged to the car and took our stuff. I took the camera I brought and ran back to the place where I saw the kittens. I found them lying on an empty sack. I adjusted the camera and... tadaa! You can see the pictures on the picture slide show.

Yes, after taking some pictures, my mother drove us to the other half of the park. We fed the fish and tortoises. If you look closely at the picture of them fighting for food, you'll be able to see a large mouth...

Suddenly, BLING! A light bulb lighted up in my head. "Mummy! Can I catch one of the tortoises?" I asked excitedly.

My mum said, "You dare meh? Anyway, how are you gonna catch it?"

"Use food lah!"

So I went down to the lake side and squatted there. I had a few fish pallets in my hand, so I lured the tortoises nearer to the shore. I stared at them, fighting for food, while the my sisters up on the bridge dropped fish pallets on my head.

"I want the small one!" my mum told me. I didn't know how to catch the tortoises so Andrea asked mum to help me. In the end mum caught the tortoise. Actually we caught 2 tortoises. Well... it's not exactly stealing...

Scones

Right, my sister, Andrea, is making scones. The last time she made scones, she added two times the amount of milk! Had to throw the dough away then. Hopefully, she won't make any mistakes this time.

1 hour later...

My sister calls for help. She forgets to add something. My mother goes downstairs and scolds her... "The dough can't rise!" my mother shouts. My mom's not that bad... don't judge her by her yells... clock is ticking, we are hungry...

Turned out that Andrea forgot to add salt and baking powder! Urgh, food was, well....

Night Owl

When you see the title of this post, you'll probably think that I saw a night owl. Well, I saw a night owl but I didn't really see it. Getting confused eh?

The real thing is that I was the night owl but I didn't see a real night owl at all! Why was I the night owl? I couldn't sleep last night, so I kept wandering around the house. I had a weird feeling that someone was watching me... I dunno...

I think I fell asleep past midnight.

I'm sooooooo sorry that I haven't been posting updates! There's nothing much to tell you guys anyway...

On Saturday, we had our Moon cake Festival. Aiyo, the food was ok, but there wasn't much to eat. Me and my friends played with candles and lanterns. Then we went for a bike ride around the neighbourhood. Then we went home.

Oh-no, I completely forgot to tell you about my cousins house! I told you guys that I'll tell you when I come back, remember? Right, here it is:

My youngest sister, my grandma and me set out just before lunch to my aunts' place. I was starving because my grandma said that there would be food to eat there. So we drove to Damansara, believing that food was awaiting in my aunts house.But! When we got there, urgh, there was no food! My aunt suggested eating "Maggi Mee" but I didn't want to. I know you may think that I'm really fussy and stuff but I didn't feel like eating Maggi Mee at that time. So we walked to Tropicana Mall (just opposite). There wasn't much to choose there. Instead we had hot dogs at 1906 or something like that. Then we walked back to the house. We just lazed around when we got back. After we ate tea, we went down to the pool to swim. The water was FREEZING! But we soon got used to it. It was very fun, but a breeze blew and we felt cold again. After a while, we got out and bathed in my aunts' house. We watched Twilight (very nice) and then we walked to Tropicana Mall (again) and ate at Subway. Food was okay, quite nice... That's all!

JPS meeting with some friends

Today was yet another JPS meeting. This time with err... 1, 2, 3... 4. Four fiends, I mean, friends. Uh-huh. It was the same as usual- have jokes, discuss things about the topic, erm, giving a speech...

So! My friends said that they enjoyed it very much!!! And YAY, the next meeting of JPS(October)is another drama workshop! And the next meeting, (November) is an outing! Whoo, I'm gonna have FUN!

Oh, an outing to where you ask? Well, they didn't say, so I wouldn't know now, would I?

Anyway, I just can't wait for the next and the next JPS meeting to come. I just know

Another trip

Sorry again for not keeping you guys updated! Very busy now lah! My two sisters and me set out for our journey to Banting, my other grandmothers' house. The journey was very short only, and we played our DS the whole journey...

We reached at last!!! A dog from my Grandma's neighbours house came over looking for food.

He always does that because his owners don't treat him well, so

he always comes to my grandma cuz' she gives him bones

and stuff...

So, yeah, everyday there was just the same routine. Play DS, watch TV, read a book, eat, go out and

stuff like that loh...

Uh, I know I haven't been writting in my blog, because there hasn't been anything to write about. Anyway, I just made my IC yesterday (Wednesday) at the Endah Parade Carrefour. When they showed me my picture on the computer, I looked weird.

Genting Highlands remember?

Yes, I told you all that I will tell you about my Genting Highlands trip, right? So, here it is:

Okay, so my family and I, went into the Japanese Botanical Garden which was designed and built by Japanese people. We saw many different types of plants,flowers, trees and stuff like that. Then, we exited and went to the Japanese Restaurant. And ate lunch there right? Na-uh! It was so expensive, that we decided to eat on the way to Genting.

So, we went to our car and drove to Genting. We stopped at a seafood restaurant to eat lunch. The food was not bad, but the meal cost RM 115 or something like that... ANYWAY, we continued on our way. We reached there safely, don't worry. Oh, you should have seen our faces when we didn't get to sit on any of the rides in the themepark. Actually we did lah. One ride only... My mom said that Genting Highlands is trying to be like Las Vegas. You know Las Vegas in the U.S.A? Yup, that one, full of casinos everywhere! The real reason why my Dad took us up here is because he wants us to enjoy the cool air there. But it's not really cooling, that's what the others say, but I was FREEZING out there!!! Just joking! I was in the middle of cold and hot. When I put my jacket on, I'll feel HOT. And when I take off my jacket, I'll feel COLD! Urgh, what type of temperature is that?! Anyway, we got back home safely. Thanks for asking.

My trip

Wow, you know I've been so busy this holidays that I didn't get to tell you anything! Because I went to Bukit Tinggi and Genting Highlands today. So I won't tell you about our trip to Alor Setar. Anyway there isn't much to type. I'll just tell you about my trip today.

We packed water, jackets and money andthen we set off to Bukit Tinggi. We reached there safely and we took some pictures at the fountain. We walked across the drawbridge and under the "French" archway. We went into a hotel and took somemore pics, and then we continued on our way. Man, stuff there are just sooo expensive!!! Just 1 wooden clip- you know that type is like the flower petals is the clip like that- just 1 wooden clip is RM5 something! My mom said that we can get stuff like that cheaper in KL. So, we didn't buy anything. And that was the end of our Bukit Tinggi trip. It's called Berjaya Hills now. I'll tell you all about my Genting Highlands trip on my next post.

Cleaning day!

Today as usual, I will help my Dad clean the house and that means to vacuum, mop, clean up the messy rooms and stuff like that. Normally I'll clean my room and my sisters room and then I'll bathe my dogs. But today, I just cleaned the house. I didn't bathe the dogs.

At night, we (my family) walked down our "memory lane". We watched videos and saw pictures of the old times like when we were 5 or 6 years old...? We enjoyed it.

A special JPS meeting

The JPS Club had a special meeting on Friday. We had a drama workshop with Aunty Sonia coaching us- can you use the word coaching for drama?- Anyway, I invited some friends to join us too. I learned some cool stuff about drama that day. Like, how to express yourself by saying it and how to pull different types of espressions. I enjoyed that day's meeting; my friends did too! I am very, very nervous about the coming debate about "Dogs and Cats" and I'm- how do you say it? Um, I'm fighting for the dogs, why they are better than cats. They really are.

Today is just the same old day. I don't know why I'm typing when nothing's happening. Oh yes, next weak is the school holidays and my Mom is taking us to the Gardenia bread factory on Monday. Then after that, we'll be following my grandparents back to Alor Setar and spend four days there. I can't wait! At least something interesting is happening next week...

I went to church today as usual with my family. So after that my mum's friend called and ask us to go and eat a free lunch with her at her apartment. (She just buy to invest only) If you've heard of Bukit Kiara Properties, then you'll know that the place is like, the most fashionable houses! I'll try to get some pics of the 2 show units I went to. It's like dreamland! And the sky lounge, cinema, gym, bathroom! So nice you know! There's a jacuzzi and a wooden sauna in the bathroom!
